Doing the laundry is one of my least favorite tasks around the house.
And, considering the amount of time I dedicate to doing the laundry, it feels like clothes are multiplying during the night in an apparent attempt to defeat my best efforts to keep on top of my house chores.
OK. This is a stretch, but don’t you feel that there’s always more laundry to be done than time?
I first learned I’d be forever busy with laundry when our twin boys were born. Then, our third one came along, and now, between towels, bedding, and everyone’s clothes, we run six loads of laundry a week. Unbelievable, right!?
The one good thing that came out of this endless amount of laundry, aside from my kids always wearing clean clothes, of course, is that I developed a simple trick that makes doing the laundry much faster and easier.
