I think this has been a long time coming. But when some colleagues started asking about my business, I realized that while I *know* how busy I am and how my results are amazing, they don’t.
I even had a NAPO committee member ask me if I was still a NAPO member! (shock face) So, if you have been curious about what “Helena is doing these days”, I am happy to share.
As you know, I moved from San Diego to Chicagoland in the summer of 2016, then moved again to our new home in April 2017.
As these moves have been energy and time consuming I focused my attention on developing an online business, creating a laptop lifestyle that I love – except on winters, of course! I also wrote a book, soon to be launched.
I created and successfully launched a marketing training for Portuguese speaking professional organizers around the world, I have groups, with thousands of members, where I give weekly lives, giving them content, answering questions and best of all, having fun!
You see, I found my passion for teaching.
I always found great joy in sharing what I know with friends and colleagues, in fact, they will send me a text asking “how do I solve this?” or “what are you using for that?” and I am happy to share. But, creating my online program and offering mentorship to new organizers took it to another level and I am enjoying it thoroughly.
My Love With Marketing
My love with marketing preceded my work as a professional organizer and then when I launched my organizing business in 2010 I immediately understood I needed to update my professional skills if I wanted to attract the clients I wanted to work with, on a budget, and quickly.
Since then I have taken courses and earned certificates from the best of the best in the online marketing and business industry and went on to build the online business I told you above.
Having a business in two different languages and markets presents its challenges and I gave myself the time to figure things out.
So, it was time to create a home for all the content I have been creating for professional organizers and small business owners who want to be seen and hired by their ideal clients and who want to create a business they love. A place to share content, offer services, products, and a community.
Ms. Social is now where you will find all things social media, marketing, branding, and online business.
I have learned a thing or two over the years and it’s my pleasure to share it all with you.
