Holiday Party Organizing Tips – It All Starts Here
Holiday parties are one of the highlights of the season — especially the parties you host.
Though it may be a few months away, you can notify friends and family members of your holiday get-together with a save the date. December calendars fill up fast and a save the date is the only way to ensure everyone will be able to make it to your party.
Check the holiday party organizing tips below.
Narrow the List of Dates
Look at your calendar and select 2-3 dates that would work. Then check the family calendar or have a quick family meeting to ensure everyone will be available on the dates you’ve chosen. Finally, call or email a few of your closest friends to see which dates work best for them. Choose the best date based on the feedback your receive.
Create a Guest List
If you host an annual holiday party, grab the invitation list from last year and make adjustments or additions as necessary. If it’s your first time hosting a holiday bash in your home, take time to brainstorm whom you’d like to invite.
Send Save the Date Cards
Design your save the date cards. I always have so much fun with this! For formal holiday parties, it’s a good idea to mail save the dates cards. If you prefer to keep things casual, an email save the date will work just fine.
