Organizing Tips For a Great Holiday Season – It’s Baking Time
Baking yummy goodies is one of the best parts of the holiday season. To make baking fun and not stressful, create a baking station to hold everything you need for making cookies, baking cakes and preparing other treats.
How To Create A Baking Station
- Location, location, location. Find space on your countertop with enough room to lay out baking supplies and do things like roll out dough. If your space is limited, use a side table as a seasonal baking station.
- Gather what you need. Pull out your favorite baking tools, supplies and accessories so everything is in one place. Organize the items in a way that works for you. You’ll want tools like your stand mixer, apple corer, cookie cutters and dough roller within reach.
- Create a baking ingredients organizer and store non-perishable baking ingredients together. Group baking supplies in your pantry or near your baking station on a rack or tray. You’ll want to keep flour, sugar, and spices in airtight containers and away from direct heat.
